Test loads, load charts, incremental modifications, cargo gear inspections, and certifications are all covered in the requirements and procedures.
- The safety standards for loose lifting equipment and onboard lifting appliances in ships and boats are outlined in IMO and SOLAS Regulation II-I/3-13.
- RINA Rules REP. 1/E Part A: Ship-part A Classification Rules outlines the classification and survey requirements for cargo gears, the requirements for cargo handling equipment, and the structural part and assembly inspection and testing requirements.
