Frequently Asked Questions
The pad eyes or lifting lug inspection in Oman shall be carried out with pad eye tester assembly of hydraulic jacks and hydraulic pump. The loading protocol of the lifting lug is based on LEEA 048 & ILO Chart. Pad eye Pull testing inspection shall be performed by Portable pad eye tester.
Water weights load testing services shall be carried out by water weights and lifting load bags of various capacities. Water weights shall be used as alternatives of solid test weight and it is easier to handle it at offshore rigs. Proof load testing shall be achieved by gradually filling water and measured by calibrated dynamometer load cell. This method is widely used for pedestal crane load testing services in Oman.
