GANGWAY LOAD TESTING IN OMAN

According to SOLAS, LR, ABS, BV, NK, and DNV ship classification regulations, calibrated water weights are used for gangway load testing, Billy Pugh load testing, accommodation ladder load testing and pilot ladder load testing inspection.. Personnel transfer basket load testing and gangway load testing inspection must comply with SOLAS regulation. ACCOMMODATION LADDER LOAD TEST
In order to verify the load capacity of accommodation ladders or other vital access systems at SWL, EIWAA conducts annual, periodic, and five-year load testing inspections and certifications using solid test weights or calibrated water bags. Every six months or a year, we verify the Billy Pugh, also known as the personnel transfer basket, at anchorages, offshore ports, and marine ports through load testing inspection. As required by SOLAS and ship classification regulations, our inspection engineers who have been approved by the rules check the flooring, rigging, slinging, weld joints, and structural integrity using pull testing equipment, dynamometer load cells, and calibrated test weights.
