PADEYE LOAD TESTING IN UAE
EIWAA is one of the ADNOC-approved pad eye load testing Inspection and certifications in the UAE by using rope access, spider access, and industrial abseiling services. Pad eye pull testing is witnessed and certified by ADNOC. Approved lifting inspectors at ADNOC offshore and port locations. For ensuring operational safety in lifting operations, annual or periodic inspection is mandatory for pad eyes, lifting lugs, lifting hooks, lifting points, and lashing hooks. All the pad eye load testing, inspection, and certification shall be carried out in accordance with the requirements of API, LEEA, DNV-ST-N001, and project requirements.
NDT inspection of pad eyes was performed by our ASNT-certified NDT technicians using appropriate methods of magnetic particle inspection and eddy current testing. Color coding and stenciling of pad eyes with SWL markings shall be performed by our rope access service technicians with IRATA certifications. Pull Testing and certifications shall be performed by a portable and hydraulic pad eye tester with various capacities up to 350-ton capacity. In brief, we are one of the leading offshore lifting solutions approved by all marine classification societies of ABS, BV, DNV, RINA, and NK with access to all the major ports of the UAE, offshore, and anchorages. Codes and standards of pad eye load testing inspection and certifications are,
- DNV-ST-N001: Marine operations, safety, and marine warranty sections detailed on lifting appliances, pad eyes, and lifting lugs.
- DNV-ST-0378: Offshore platforms and jackets cover the design, inspection, testing, and certifications of pad eyes, lifting hooks, and lifting lugs.
- DNVGL-CG-0128: Load Testing of Lifting Appliances covers requirements and methods of proof load testing.
- API RP 2D: Operations and maintenance of offshore cranes cover inspection, maintenance, and testing of pad eyes and lifting lugs.
- API RP 2A-WSD: Request for design and construction of pad eyes or lifting points at fixed offshore platforms.
- ASME B30.20: Inspection and testing of pad eyes and lifting hooks at offshore equipment or generally below-the-hook lifting devices.
- ISO 7531: Inspection, Testing, and Maintenance of Wire Rope Slings.
ADNOC APPROVED LIFTING LUG INSPECTION IN UAE
ADNOC approved lifting lug inspection in offshore carrying out in ADNOC projects to ensure structural integrity and load-bearing capacity of lifting lugs. Lifting lug inspection is important for ensuring load-bearing components are safe for heavy equipment, modules, pressure vessels, and structural steel in ADNOC offshore platforms, refineries, fabrication yards, oil and gas facilities, and project sites. As an ADNOC-approved lifting lug inspection and third-party inspection, we perform lifting lug inspection by rope access as per ADNOC lifting standards, international welding codes, and engineering design requirements.
ADNOC-approved lifting lug inspection includes visual inspection, dimensional verification, SWL verification, proof load testing, welding quality checks, and Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) inspection of eddy current testing or magnetic particle inspection. We are only providing ADNOC-approved lifting lug inspection and pad eye load testing by rope access by using our ENAS 17020/ADNOC-approved NDT inspection service engineers. Rope access inspection services are performed by our IARA and ASNT crews. Certified NDT inspectors with marine class certifications.
LR APPROVED SERVICE SUPPLIER IN UAE
Lloyds Register-classified vessels must undergo load testing and NDT inspections. Under the Lloyds Register Approval number, approved Lloyd’s service providers in the UAE can conduct a 5-year crane load test and provide a report. The Lloyds Register’s Approved service supplier for NDT certification and maritime crane load testing indicates that LR will not conduct cargo gear load testing on its own; instead, it may grant approval to third-party inspection companies or service providers recognized by the Lloyds Register.
Lloyd’s Register Load testing and certification are carried out by approved service providers following initial installation, significant repairs or modifications, SWL changes, a five-year special survey, and when a surveyor is required following damage.
BV APPROVED SERVICE SUPPLIER IN UAE
BV Approved Service Suppliers are authorized or acknowledged third-party businesses that conduct proof load testing, inspection, and certification of cargo gears such as winches, pad eyes, and other lifting/testing services. BV (Bureau Veritas) audits and certifies EIWAA to fulfill BV standards and quality and technical requirements for shipboard inspection and marine equipment certification.
BV certified services providers has to come onboard, conduct load tests and NDT, and issue BV recognized certificates in accordance with BV rules and regulations if a port intends to conduct a third-party certification of marine cranes and lifting equipment. Class records and flag state inspections can use this load testing certificate.BV regulations cover certification requirements, inspection intervals, load testing protocols, NDT inspection, emergency systems, and standards for offshore and platform lifting equipment.
LIFTING POINTS CERTIFICATION IN UAE
All the lifting points, including trunnions and lifting lugs, should comply with the requirements of offshore safety and standards. Proof load testing inspection and certification of trunnions and lifting points shall be performed by calibrated water bag, dynamometer load cell c/w lifting accessories offshore. Lifting points inspection and certification are performed annually, and 5-year load testing is done as per the offshore requirements and project specifications. Lifting lug pull testing offshore by a calibrated pad eye tester meeting the requirements of IMO Regulations and SOLAS Requirements.
